IDLE ADJUST

Engine running at idle speed, operating temperature.

Vehicle with MT:

Press F6 key in the system main menu, select the desired test with the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

Vehicle speed 0 km / h (0 mph)

Coolant temperature greater than 90° C / 194° F

Engine running for at least 5 min. IAC CNTR. ENABLE: ACTIVE

·   Carry out F6: Miscellaneous Tests;

Corsa - B: 820 to 980 rpm

·   Control unit defective

F1: ECU RESET no. 01

Astra - F: 770 to 930 rpm

·   Carry out F6: Miscellaneous Tests; F0: ADJUSTMENTS no. 01

Desired idle speed

·   Control unit defective

After the nominal idle speed has been altered once, test step no. 40 of the F0: DATA LIST must always be ACTIVE. The display can only revert to INACTIVE once this speed has been reset. See: Fl: ECU RESET IDLE ADJUST
