· The control unit has determined a voltage level
at the output to the injector which does not correspond to the nominal value
(32 consecutive 0 V to 12 V transitions were not registered)
The
fault (lead interruption/short circuit to ground) is recognized when the ignition
is switched on and the switch-on test is performed, and also while
travelling.
Short
circuit to ground:
The
injector is always actuated
The
engine does not start
The
catalytic converter may become damaged
Interruption:
The
injector is no longer actuated.
