Introduction
This brochure is published to coincide with the availability of the new TECH 1 Program Module 87-93 and to provide the latest information necessary for the workshop personnel to be able to use the new program module to its full potential in fault diagnosis.
The new TECH 1 Program Module 87-93 is the first summary of all systems developed by Opel/Vauxhall that can be checked using TECH 1. This makes it possible to perform diagnosis on all systems using just one program module. The previously issued program modules are now replaced by the new module. Short-comings in the old program modules have been eliminated.

Checking Procedures, the relevant vehicle circuit diagrams and the TECH 1 Operating Instructions, it is possible to diagnose and eliminate a fault efficiently and quickly.
This brochure lists all electronically controlled vehicle systems introduced in Model Year 93, applied to additional vehicles or to which sizeable modifications have been made.
Use the latest edition of the checking procedures listed above containing the system being diagnosed.
Systems which are not included in the above brochures should be diagnosed according to the relevant system Checking Procedures.
