Remove transmission and clutch - see corresponding operations in group K. Lock flywheel via starter ring gear with KM-652 and remove (see illus. I). If flywheel is to be reused, mark removal position.
 Inspect Check rear crankshaft seal ring, flywheel and starter ring gear for damage or wear - replace if necessary. Clean contact surfaces of crankshaft and flywheel. To remove residual sealing compound, recut threads in crankshaft (see illus. II).
 Install, Connect Install flywheel onto crankshaft and align. Lock flywheel via starter ring gear with KM-652 (starter side) and install - 35 Nm / 26 lbf. ft. + 30 ° + 15 ° 1) . Install clutch and transmission - see corresponding operations in group K. |
