Cylinder Head Sealing Surfaces, Grind Plane, Cylinder Head Removed  

If the cylinder head surface, especially the surfaces separating the combustion chambers, is uneven, warped or indicates slight damage such as scoring, scratches or similar, level the damaged surface, i.e. grind plane. This does not apply to the sealing surface for the camshaft housing.  

  Measure   

Measure permissible unevenness, sealing surface peak-to-valley height and total cylinder head height - see Technical Data.  

  Clean   

Clean all ducts (water, oil, etc.).
