If present: Disconnect wiring harness plug for oxygen sensor (2) and remove pre-heater hose (1) from pre-heater scoop. Unbolt pre-heater scoop from exhaust manifold (see illus. II, arrows) Unbolt front exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold and detach from retaining rubbers. Unbolt exhaust manifold from cylinder head. Remove used gaskets and clean sealing surfaces.
 Install, Connect Fit exhaust manifold with new gaskets. Bolt front exhaust pipe with new gasket to exhaust manifold and attach in rubber clamps. Bolt pre-heater scoop to exhaust manifold (see illus. II, arrows). If fitted: Attach pre-heater hose (1) to pre-heater scoop. Connect wiring harness plug for oxygen sensor (2).
