Cause: Fluctuation or inaccurate signal from the throttle valve potentiometer to engine control unit.

Production Solution:
Remedy: Check that the potentiometer produces a constant signal a 0 % open. If fluctuations are found however the potentiometer checks O.K. then replace the motor wiring harness.
