Rear left inspection aperture for F 10 and F 13 transmission. Front left inspection aperture for F 15/F 17 transmission (see illus. I). The transmission fluid is topped up via the opening in the bleeder screw in the shift mechanism cover (see illus. II). To check fluid level, construct ad hoc tool (e.g., from electrode wire).

If fluid is topped up in Service, simplify process by topping up until fluid escapes from check aperture.
 Tighten (Torque) Fluid checking bolt on transmission - 4 Nm / 3 lbf. ft. + 45 ° up to 180 ° Vent/ filling bolt on transmission - 4 Nm / 3 lbf. ft. + 45 ° up to 180 ° |
