Complaint: Odour Sporadic fuel odour in the passenger compartment.
Cause: The are diverse reasons for the fuel odor. Prior to exchanging any parts check the items described in the Remedy Instruction.

Production Solution:
Remedy: In case of complaint check the items in accordance.
Checking procedure: - Check service insulation for a leakage. - Check the routing and connection of the ventilation hose at the active carbon canister. - Remove the purge pipe between the fuel tank ventilation valve and active carbon canister. Push the purge pipe through by using a 0, 4 mm thick wire. - Check the fuel tank ventilation valve with TECH1 /TECH2.
If the cause has not been found after the checking procedure described above, the active carbon canister and the fuel filler tube have to be replaced.
