Secondary Air Metal Pipe, Remove and Install > < Illustration - Secondary Air System (X14XE, X16XE)

Combination Valve, Remove and Install  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Pull off secondary air pump hose (2) and vacuum hose (1) from combination valve. Remove secondary air metal pipe support from secondary air metal pipe and exhaust manifold (3).  

Detach combination valve from secondary air metal pipe (4).  

Object Number: 616195 Size: DEFAULT  Clean   

Remove old gaskets and clean sealing surfaces.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Attach combination valve to secondary air metal pipe with new gasket - 6 Nm / 4 lbf. ft. 1) . Install secondary air metal pipe support (3) - 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft. 1) Attach secondary air pump/combination valve hose (2) and vacuum hose (1) to combination valve.  

Object Number: 2394268 Size: DEFAULT

1)  Insert fastening bolts with assembly paste (white).
