Pressure Line, Replace (RHD)  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Disconnect and remove battery. Remove battery holder. Remove air cleaner housing completely. Detach intake pipe vacuum sensor from bulkhead (if present). Remove coolant compensation valve and coolant cutoff valve. Collect escaping coolant.

Detach return pipe (5) from steering gear and lay aside. Detach pressure line (1) from steering gear. Detach pressure line from expandable hose (arrow) and remove.

  Install, Connect   

Install new seals on connection points. Insert pressure line and screw onto expandable hose - tightening torque 12 Nm / 9 lbf. ft. Screw pressure line (1) to steering gear - tightening torque 12 Nm / 9 lbf. ft. Install return pipe (5) on steering gear - tightening torque 12 Nm / 9 lbf. ft.   Attach coolant cutoff valve, coolant compensation tank. Fasten vacuum sensor to bulkhead (if present). Install air cleaner housing, battery holder and battery and connect. Top up coolant.   Top up hydraulic system and check for leaks - see operation "Hydraulic System, Top Up / Bleed".
