Steering Wheel, Set to Centre Position (Vehicles with Airbag) > < Straight-ahead Position, Check and Adjust

 

Steering Wheel in Centre Position, Position (Vehicles without Airbag)  

If the steering wheel position deviates by more than ± 5 ° from the steering wheel centre position, then the steering wheel must be positioned straight.  

Set steering to straight ahead position - see operation "Straight Ahead Position, Check/Adjust".  

Object Number: 616191  Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove horn button from steering wheel. Release fastening nut and remove from steering shaft. Detach steering wheel with KM-210-B from steering shaft.  

Object Number: 616192  Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Position steering wheel in steering straight-ahead position in the centre on the steering shaft. Position new locking plate and attach steering wheel to steering shaft with fastening nut - tightening torque 25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft. Secure fastening nut with locking plate.
