First turn key 45° to the right in driver's door (lock). Hold key in this position for at least 1 second, then turn key fully to the right (arm anti-theft warning system)

 

Turn key 45° to the left in driver's door (disarm anti-theft warning system)

Notes on trouble-shooting

Nominal Value

Cause of Fault

The signal for activating/deactivating the anti-theft warning system is supplied by the central locking control unit K37.

 

 

Therefore, in the event of a fault, first check the functions of the central locking system: unlock, lock, anti-theft device

 

·   Trouble-shooting in central locking

If nominal values are attained:

 

·   Wiring harness, instrument panel, Sinterruption

     between:    wiring harness plug K94/Ter. 6

     and:            wiring harness plug X7/Ter. 41

·   Control unit K94 defective
