First turn key 45° to the right in driver's door (lock). Hold key in this position for at least 1 second, then turn key fully to the right (arm anti-theft warning system)

 

Turn key 45° to the left in driver's door

Notes on trouble-shooting

Nominal Value

Cause of Fault

The signal for activating the anti-theft warning

system is supplied by the driver's door anti-theft device switch S41.

 

 

 

Therefore, in the event of a fault, first check the functions of the central locking system: unlock, lock, anti-theft device

 

 

·   Trouble-shooting of central locking

If nominal values are attained:

 

·   Wiring harness, instrument panel, interruption

     between:    wiring harness plug K94/Ter. 18

     and:            wiring harness plug X7/Ter. 44

·   Control unit K94 defective
