Types of Fault

 

The anti-theft warning system control unit has two memories ("A" and "B") reserved for each anticipated trouble code. This allows 4 different types of fault to be represented.

 

The following combinations are possible:

LED in hazard warning lamps switch flashes when arming.

 

Fault type no. 2 is evaluated by TECH 1 for recognition of short-term faults (loose contacts).

 

Faults from fault type no. 3 are reset to type no. 1 by the anti-theft warning system control when the system is armed/disarmed 20 times; i.e. the fault is deleted.
