·   Measure between wiring harness plug M 18 and X 20 (door side)

 

·   If nominal value is attained, switch in servo motor M 18 defective

Possible faults:

(if nominal value is not attained)

 

For measurement between driver's door wiring harness plug X 20 and co-driver's door wiring harness plug X 21 (body side):

     Interruption in body wiring harness between wiring harness plug X 20 and X 21.

 

 

For measurement between driver's door wiring harness plug X 20 (body side) and body ground:

1.  Interruption in body wiring harness between wiring harness plug X 20/Ter. 5 and body ground.

2.  Ground connection to body corroded.

 

 

For measurement at driver's door wiring harness plug X 20 (door side):

1.  Interruption in driver's door wiring harness between wiring harness plug X 20 and M 18.

2.  Servo motor M 18 incorrectly adjusted.

3.  Switch in servo motor M 18 defective.

 

 

For measurement between servo motor wiring harness plug M 18 and driver's door wiring harness plug X 20 (door side):

     Interruption in driver's door wiring harness between wiring harness plug X 20 and M 18.

If nominal value is attained, switch in servo motor M 18 defective.
