Programming of Window Winder Electronics

After replacement, adjustment of function checks of the ECWWs and/or reconnecting the battery, the ECWW window winder electronics must be reprogrammed:

After switching on the ignition, the window is completely closed by holding down the relevant rocker switch.

Once the window is closed, the rocker switch is held down for another approx. 5 seconds.

The window winder electronics are now programmed.

Note:

If the window is already closed when commencing programming, the rocker switch must merely be held down for approx.

5 seconds.

Observe:

Before replacing a motor/electronic unit, check the relevant sash window for easy movement in the window guide.

This is necessary if...

a)  ... a window can only be opened or closed by constant pressing of the rocker switch and programming is not possible,

b)  ... a window only moves in steps of approx. 40 mm/1.6 in. despite constant actuation of the rocker switch, or

c)  ... the pinch guard does not operate as in the function description.
