Cigarette Lighter, Replace  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Open ashtray lid and pull out cigarette lighter. Unscrew ashtray assembly at front. Pull out ashtray assembly until wiring harness plug is accessible.   Remove wiring harness plug for lamp and cigarette lighter. Remove ashtray assembly.

  Remove, Disconnect   

Push socket cylinder (1) out of lamp ring (2) from behind (see illus. I and II).     Install, Connect    Install socket cylinder in lamp ring. Ensure that guide on socket cylinder is pushed into lamp ring groove (see illus. III). Note correct seating of ground connection of lamp ring!   Connect wiring harness plug of lamp and cigarette lighter. Push ashtray assembly in opening and bolt on. Insert cigarette lighter.     Inspect    Check correct operation of cigarette lighter!
