Trouble code is stored if the serial clock line (SCL)
has a short circuit to battery Ter. 30 or is interrupted.

· Disconnect
battery.
· Remove TID.
· Disconnect plug
from TID.
· Remove radio
|
|
|
|
· Measure resistance
between TID plug Ter. 9 and Ter. 1:

· Wiring harness
defective (check contact springs of wiring harness connection)
· Short circuit in
wiring harness to vehicle voltage supply (Ter. 30)
|
|
· Measure resistance
between TID plug Ter. 9 and Ter. 5:
|

|
· Short circuit in
wiring harness to vehicle voltage supply (Ter. 15)
|
|
· Measure resistance
between TID plug Ter. 9 and Ter. 8:
|

|
· Short circuit in
wiring harness to vehicle voltage supply (Ter. AA)
|
|
· Measure resistance
between TID plug Ter. 9 and radio plug Ter. SCL:
|

|
· Interruption in
line from TID plug Ter. 9 to radio plug Ter. SCL.
|
|
· Install TID.
· Install radio.
· Connect battery.
