Steering Column Panelling, Remove and Install

Note: For improved
understanding, the diagram shows the removal of the steering column
panelling without steering wheel.

Detach upper steering column panelling (1)

Unclip upper steering column panelling from lower steering
column panelling (2)
|

| 2. |
Detach EPS-steering column boss (3) from lever for tilt
adjustment, EPS-steering column
Note: For vehicles with
adjustable EPS steering column boss.

Detach lower steering column panelling
| • |
Unscrew and remove 3x bolts (4) and (5)
|
|
|
Install
| 4. |
Attach lower steering column panelling
| • |
Tighten 3x bolt
Note: Insert Torx bolt
of lower steering column panelling with locking compound.

Attach WPS steering column boss to tilt adjustment lever for
EPS-steering column
Note: For vehicles with
adjustable EPS steering column boss.

Tighten the bolt
Note: Insert Torx bolt
of boss, tilt adjustment lever with locking compound.

Attach upper steering column panelling
|
| 7. |
Bring tilt adjustment lever to driving position and lock
Note: For vehicles with
adjustable EPS steering column boss.
