Electric Drive, Remove and Install
Note: To remove the
electric drive, the glass cover must be in the closed position. If
the electric drive is not functioning, the glass cover of the
sliding roof is closed via the emergency actuation (1).
 Remove
| 1. |
Release weatherstrip of sliding sunroof
|
| 2. |
Remove interior light panel
|
| 3. |
Disconnect wiring harness plug, sliding sunroof actuating
switch
|
| 4. |
Unlatch and disconnect wiring harness plug (2) on electric
drive
|
| 5. |
Unscrew 3x bolt

Remove electric drive assembly (3)
|
|
|
|
Install
| 6. |
Perform basic adjustment of both control cables 
|
| 7. |
Before installing the electric drive, the basic setting of the
electric drive must be checked - see: adjust electric drive
|
| 8. |
Install electric drive assembly
| • |
Insert electric drive assembly
|
| • |
Tighten 3x bolt
Note: Torx bolts are
inserted with locking compound
|
| • |
Connect wiring harness plug for electric drive
|
| • |
Connect wiring harness plug for actuating switch
|
|
| 9. |
Install interior light panel
|
| 11. |
Perform function check for opening and closing and check the
deflection of the glass cover
|
|
