Stud of ball joint lower transverse link
difficult to remove from steering knuckle. |
| Cause: |
Corrosion. |

Remedy:
In case of service operation the steering knuckle must be expanded
only by the special tool KM-915 (picture I). Improper expanding
(for example with chisel or tip lever) can cause hidden damage of
stud or steering knuckle which can lead to a crack.
