Ribbed V-Belt, Replace (Z 17 DTH, with Air Conditioning, LHD)

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Raise vehicle
3.   Remove ribbed V-belt cover
•   Unscrew 3 bolts (1)
•   Remove clip (arrow)

4.   Remove ribbed V-belt
•   Mark running direction
•   Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner in direction of arrow via bolt (1)
•   Fix ribbed V-belt tensioner in position at bore (2)
•   Remove ribbed V-belt

  Install

5.   Install ribbed V-belt
Note:   Note ribbed V-belt's direction of travel
•   Install ribbed V-belt
– I. Ribbed V-belt without AC
– II. Ribbed V-belt with AC
•   Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner in direction of arrow via bolt (1)
•   Remove fixing devices
•   Release ribbed V-belt tensioner

6.   Attach ribbed V-belt cover
•   Tighten 3 bolts
•   Install clip
7.   Lower vehicle
8.   Close bonnet
