Replace heat shield sleeve (Y 17 DT, Y 17 DTL, Y
30 DT, Z 30 DT)
Special service tools required:
Installer KM-6093, remover KM-6094, assembly tool set
KM-6215
|
Note: The cylinder
head can only be attached to assembly device KM-6215-1 (1) once all
attaching parts have been removed.
Install
Position cylinder head with timing side facing mount and attach
at centre threaded hole (2).
The threaded hole for the rear fastening bolt for the cylinder
head is determined by the length of the cylinder head.
The valves need not be completely disassembled for removal of
the heat sleeves. The injectors are removed.

 Remove
Carefully drive out heat sleeve from underside of cylinder head
using remover KM-6094 (1).

|
Install
Insert new heat sleeve with new seals and carefully drive in
until stop from upper side of cylinder head using Installer KM-6093
(1).
Remove
Remove cylinder head from assembly device KM-6215-1.
Install
Remove attaching parts.
