Replacing ribbed V-belt guide roller

  Remove

1.   Raise vehicle all the way
2.   Remove right engine splash guard
•   Unscrew 3 bolts (1)
•   Remove body-bound rivet (arrow)
Object Number: 2410600 Size: DEFAULT


3.   Remove ribbed V-belt
Note:   Note ribbed V-belt's direction of travel
•   Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner in direction of arrow using s KM-913-A at tension roller bolt
•   Remove ribbed V-belt
Object Number: 2411073 Size: DEFAULT


4.   Remove ribbed V-belt guide roller (2)
•   Remove bolt
Object Number: 2413420 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

5.   Install ribbed V-belt guide roller
•   Tighten bolt 38.2 Nm
6.   Install ribbed V-belt
Note:   Note ribbed V-belt's direction of travel
•   Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner in direction of arrow using KM-913 via retaining bolt (1) and position ribbed V-belt
– I. Ribbed V-belt without AC
– II. Ribbed V-belt with AC

7.   Install right engine splash guard
•   Tighten 3 bolts
•   Install body-bound rivet
8.   Lower vehicle all the way
