Air Filter Housing > < Heating System Control Unit, Replace (Z 17 DTH)

Coolant Temperature Sensor, Replace (Z 17 DTH, With Air Conditioning, LHD)

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Drain coolant
•   Place collecting basin underneath.
•   Open coolant drain bolt
Object Number: 2411059 Size: DEFAULT


3.   Unclip coolant hose
4.   Disconnect upper radiator hose
•   From thermostat housing cover
5.   Remove coolant temperature sensor (2)
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug (1)
Object Number: 2413418 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

6.   Install coolant temperature sensor
•   Replace seal ring
•   Tighten sensor 22.5 Nm
•   Connect wiring harness plug
7.   Connect upper radiator hose
•   To thermostat housing cover
8.   Clip in coolant hose.
9.   Close coolant drain bolt
10.   Top up coolant
11.   Close bonnet
