DTL, without AC, LHD)

1. Open bonnet
|
|
2. Drain coolant
- Place collecting basin underneath.
- Remove drain bolt
|
3. Remove coolant temperature sensor
(1)
- Detach wiring harness plug (2).
- Unscrew sensor
|
|
4. Install coolant temperature
sensor
- Tighten sensor (22.5 Nm / 16.6 lbf. ft.)

- Connect wiring harness plug.
5. Close coolant drain bolt
6. Top up coolant
- Note! Top up and bleed cooling system – see operation
"Top up and bleed cooling system"
- Observe specified coolant quantity
7. Close bonnet
1 ) Recut threads before re-use and insert bolts
with screw locking compound (red). Installation time including the
torque test is max. 10 min.
