After ECU flash the reset of ECO Service
flex is impossible. |
| Cause: |
SPS Software released as of MY2006 is
backwards compatibel but does not support ECO Service Flex
automatically. |

Remedy:
After reflashing of the ECU the Tech 2 ECM diagnostic application
"Program Variant Configuration" has to be performed. Inside the
"Program Variant Configuration" the options Oil-Level-Monitoring
and Oil-Life-Monitoring must be activated.
Therefore following menues as of Tech-2 SW version 79.002
(TIS 2000-DVD, version 79) have to be used for this change.
