Telematics Unit, Remove and Install
Important: Only
for replacement: Deactivate ATWS in the navigation system/radio
with TECH 2 - see "Operations to be Undertaken with TECH 2 when
Replacing Control Units"
 Remove
| 1. |
Remove telematics unit
| • |
Unscrew 4x grub screw (arrows)
|
| • |
Insert removal bar until it engages in the aperture
|
| • |
Press both removal bars outwards and remove telematics unit
from mounting
|

Install
Important: Only for replacement:
undertake code index programming of the new telematics unit with
TECH 2 - see corresponding test instructions  . Activate ATWS
in navigation system/radio with TECH 2 - See "Operations to be
Undertaken with TECH 2 when Replacing Control Units"

Install telematics unit

Push telematics unit into installation shaft until it
engages
