Remove attaching parts |

Remove insulating mats in interior if applicable
using hot air gun and putty knife. |

Using centre punch or driver (1) through weld-in
nut (2), mark inside panel (arrow) from below |

Drill punch point visible in interior using drill (
32 - 35 mm ) |
5. |
Remove damaged weld-in nut |
6. |
Insert new weld-in nut |
7. |
Place component (7) to be fastened |
8. |
Install screw, counterhold weld-in nut (4) with
suitable tool (3) |
9. |
Tighten screw (5) with suitable tool (6) and
required torque while counterholding the nut |
10. |
Coat hole edges with paint |
11. |
Apply cavity sealant |
12. |
Seal hole with gas- and water-tight cover plug
