Subject: Front seat upholstery covering - Fastening loose
Models: Engines: Option:
Corsa-D All
Complaint: Fastening of front seat upholstery covering becomes loose.
Cause: Insufficient Fastening.
Production:

Remedy:


In case of customer complaint the seat upholstery covering must be
fastend with retaining bands.


Working procedure:


 1. Remove front seat pad



    - see working procedure "Replace front seat pad", group "C",
      Service Instruction Corsa-D.

      (L68: Document number 01601759)



      Note:
      Do not detach seat upholstery covering from seat pad.



 2. Fasten seat upholstery covering (Bild I)



    - Arrange seat upholstery covering correct on seat pad
    - Attach retaining bands with staples (width minimum 12 mm) to the
      ends of seat upholstery covering on underside of seat pad as 
      shown.



      Important:



      - Attach 3 staples on each connection point.
      - The array of the staples (arrow) must be implicitly carried 
        out as shown.
      - During creation the connection points the respective retaining 
        band must be completely relaxed, otherwise the staples will 
        become loose.

 3. Install front seat pad



    - see working procedure "Replace front seat pad", group "C",
      Service Instruction Corsa-D.
