Remove and install coolant expansion tank > < Replace upper coolant pipe

Corsa D

Replace lower coolant pipe

  Remove

1.   Remove upper coolant pipe
2.   Remove thermostat housing (2)
•   Detach coolant hose from thermostat housing
– Release clamp
•   Separate wiring harness plug for thermostat housing
•   Unscrew 2x bolts (1)
•   Remove gasket

3.   Disconnect wiring harness connector of crankshaft sensor
4.   Remove lower coolant pipe (1)
•   Unscrew 2x bolts (2)
Object Number: 8326309 Size: DEFAULT


5.   Clean sealing surfaces.
•   At cylinder block

  Install

6.   Attach lower coolant pipe
•   Replace sealing ring
Important:   Make sure the seal ring is not displaced during installation.
•   Insert coolant pipe into cylinder block
•   Tighten 2x bolt 9 Nm
7.   Connect wiring harness connector of crankshaft sensor
8.   Install thermostat housing
•   Replace gasket
•   Tighten 2x bolt 25 Nm
•   Connect wiring harness connector of thermostat housing
•   Attach coolant hose to thermostat housing.
– Fasten clamp
9.   Install upper coolant pipe

Remove and install coolant expansion tank > < Replace upper coolant pipe
