Chain Tensioner, Remove and Install > < Chain Tensioner, Remove and Install

Guide Rail, Remove and Install

  Remove

1.   Remove timing case
2.   Lock chain tensioner (1)
•   Lock chain tensioner with KM-955-1 (2)
Note:   Press tension rail against the spring force of the chain tensioner, can be inserted up to KM-955-1.

3.   Remove chain tensioner
•   Unscrew 2x bolts
4.   Remove chain tensioner with KM-955-1
5.   Remove guide rail (3)
•   Unscrew 2x bolts (2)
•   Release guide rail from centring pin (1)

  Install

6.   Clean sealing surfaces.
7.   Install guide rail
•   Tighten 2x bolts
Tightening torque 8 Nm .
•   Position guide rail in centring pin
8.   Install chain tensioner
•   Insert chain tensioner with KM-955-1
•   Tighten 2x bolts
Tightening torque 8 Nm .
9.   Remove chain tensioner lock
•   Remove KM-955-1 from chain tensioner
Note:   Note the correct installation position of the chain tensioner to the tension rail.
10.   Install timing case
