Replace toothed belt tensioner
 Remove

Remove right engine damping block bracket

Attach engine to engine crane (1)
Note: Use engine
transport shackle.

Detach right engine damping block from side member
|
| • |
Detach right engine damping block from right engine damping
block bracket
|
| • |
Detach engine damping block bracket from cylinder head and
engine block
|
|
|
|
| 3. |
Remove toothed belt tensioning device (2)
| • |
Relieve tension on toothed belt tensioning device (2)
| – |
Tension toothed belt tensioning device (2) with Allen key (1)
in direction of arrow and remove KM-6333
(3)

|
|
|
|
Important: Cleaning the thread is
essential.
|

Clean the thread in the cylinder block
|
Install
| 5. |
Install toothed belt tensioning device
| • |
Insert toothed belt tensioning device with new bolt
| – |
Free spring leg (1) of toothed belt tension roller must engage
in recess (arrow) of pump module
|
|
| • |
Tighten bolt 20 Nm + 120°
+15°
|
|
|
|
| 6. |
Lock toothed belt tensioning device with KM-6333
|
| 7. |
Install right engine damping block bracket
| • |
Attach engine damping block bracket to cylinder head and engine
block
|
| • |
Attach right engine damping block to right engine damping block
bracket
| – |
Tighten 2x new bolt 80 Nm +
45°
|
|
| • |
Fit right-hand engine damping block to longitudinal beam
|
| • |
Unhitch engine from engine crane.
|
