Engine control unit, remove and install (with
start/stop system)
Note: When replacing
the control unit, perform "Reset" using TECH 2 before removing the
control unit.

Disconnect battery

Detach negative clamp from earth terminal

Detach bulkhead closing part 
|
| 4. |
Unlock and disconnect 2 engine control unit wiring harness
plugs (1)

|

Remove engine control unit (3)

Unclip front wiring harness (2)
|

Detach engine control unit bracket from engine control unit
|
|
|
|
| 6. |
Install engine control unit
| • |
Attach engine control unit bracket to engine control unit
|
| • |
Unclip front wiring harness
|
|
| 7. |
Connect and lock 2 engine control unit wiring harness plugs
|
| 8. |
Install bulkhead closing part
|
| 9. |
Connect battery
| • |
Attach earth clamp to earth terminal
|
|
| 10. |
Program volatile memories
Note: When replacing
the control unit, perform "Program" using TECH 2 after installing
the control unit
