Function test in Easytronic (M20 MTA)
Note: Only the
function tests possible on the Easytronic are shown in this
operation. The procedure for these tests is described in the
corresponding test instructions and is undertaken with TECH 2.
Clutch Test
- The separation test is used to check the release system. With
the gear selected, the clutch should be opened and closed using the
push button and the vehicle pushed along with the clutch in the
open position in order to rule out a mechanical error in the
release system and/or clutch.
Signal check via data list and additional data
list
- It is necessary to read out a number of switches and signals,
which are relevant to the Easytronic, with TECH 2 in order to
undertake an analysis during servicing. The signals and their value
ranges are described in the test instructions and are displayed via
the TECH 2 menu "Data list" and "Additional data list".
