Wheel Bearing of Rear Wheel Hub - Drum Hub, Replace

Since this operation is basically identical to "Rear Wheel Hub - Drum Hub, Replace one", only the additional work required is described below.

Inner Bearing, Replace

Pry seal ring out of drum hub with screwdriver.

Remove inner tapered roller.

Press outer race of inner bearing out of drum hub with KM - 266 - 2 and KM - 266 - 3 in conjunction with KM - 466 - 2.

Drift outer race of inner bearing up to contact shoulder into drum hub with KM - 266 - 5.

Insert inner tapered roller bearing into drum hub.

Outer Bearing, Replace

Press outer race of outer bearing out of drum hub with KM - 266 - 1 and KM - 266 - 3 in conjunction with KM - 466 - 2.

Drift outer race of outer bearing up to contact shoulder in wheel hub, using KM - 266 - 5.

Coat or fill both wheel bearings, sealing lip of the seal ring, and cavity in drum hub with Antifriction Bearing Grease 19 46 254 - 90 001 820.

Use suitable sleeve to press seal ring flush into drum hub.
