General Information

Mark position of wheel hub when removing wheels from vehicle. This mark must be observed when attaching wheel.

Always install at the prescribed torque.

Ensure that there is no dirt between brake disc and wheel hub during installation. In addition, the contact surfaces must be plane and free of burrs.

Always install new brake linings when replacing brake discs. Always replace all brake linings or brake shoes on one axle.

After replacement of brake linings, advise the vehicle owner to avoid emergency braking over the next 200 km/120 miles.

During operations on the brake system the new closed disposal system for disposal of brake fluid is to be used, which consists of a sealed collection container. Further information may be obtained from the firm Teves.

Clean any individual components of the brake caliper with brake fluid or white spirit only - never use other fluids or sharp-edged tools.

When replacing the linings of the rear wheel brake with automatic parking brake adjustment, always replace the thermoclip.

These are delivered as an individual component in sets of two.
