Fast Idle, Check and Adjust
Preconditions:
Engine at operating temperature (oil temperature min.
80 °C/176 °F).
Idle speed correctly adjusted.
- Place adjusting screw (3) on 2nd highest step of stepped
disc (4).
- Start engine without actuating accelerator pedal.
- Check fast idle speed
- If necessary, adjust at adjusting screw (3) with fully
open choke valve.
- Renew lead seal on adjusting screw (3). See Technical
Data for nominal values.
