Complaints

 

Note:

Preconditions for the use of this chart are:

 

Engine functions without problems (timing, valves etc.)

Ignition system and adjustment without problems

Intake system without leaks

Exhaust system without problems

Correct control of intake air preheating

Clean air filter

Fuel pressure to carburettor correct

 

Cold start (starting)

 

 

 

Warming up (stalling after cold start)

 

 

 

 

Cold idle (speed too high/too low)

 

 

 

 

 

Cold driving characteristics/transition cold (pick-up poor, jerking)

 

 

 

 

Automatic choke cuts out incompletely or late

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Warm start (starting time over 5 secs)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Idle speed (uneven, too high, too low)
