Carburettor, Remove and Install

Remove air cleaner.

Disconnect fuel and vacuum hoses.

Remove bowden cable for throttle valve control.

Disconnect cable from deceleration fuel cut-off valve and disconnect throttle valve switch plug (E 12 GV only).

Disconnect vent hose for crankcase.

Remove bowden cable for choke valve control.

Remove carburettor fastening nuts and lift off carburettor.

Clean sealing surfaces.

Place new gasket on intake manifold, position carburettor and fasten in place. Use new self-locking nuts.

Connect all hoses.

Always fasten fuel line with hose clamp.

Install bowden cables for throttle valve and choke valve free of tension.

Connect throttle valve switch and deceleration fuel cut-off valve (E 12 GV only).

Adjust idle speed and CO content.
