· This value is not an actual measured value, but rather an ignition value taken from the control unit with the precondition that basic adjustment has been carried out with a timing lamp (stroboscope) or TECH 80.

Its main function is to allow better comprehension of the system.

Basic adjustment in TECH 1 mode "F6". See also section 4.7.

* As of MY '92 the basic adjustment is again at 10° CA BTDC!
