Fuel Pressure, Check
Note:
The fuel system is under pressure.
Pull off fuel pump relay and (if present) multiple pin
plug from oil pressure switch.
Start engine for at least 5 sec. Pressure reduction. Note
safety measures and national precautions.
To check fuel pressure, install Manometer MKM-588 in fuel
feed line (1).
Fuel pressure nominal value: 76 kPa
(0.76 bar/11.02 psi)
Adjustment of fuel pressure is not possible.
If pressure is less than 60 kPa (0.6 bar/8.7 psi),
check fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator and fuel return line.
