·   Engine running in engine speed range 1200 to 5000 rpm

·   Intake manifold absolute pressure less than 240 hPa

     (deceleration, e.g. possible in 4th gear from 120 km/h (75 mph) downwards)

·   Following trouble codes not stored: 21, 22, 33, 34.

·   Incorrect signal from speed sensor.

     Vehicle speed less than 6 km/h (4 mph)

·   Above conditions must be fulfilled for at least 8 s.

Note:

If the display "R-D-2-1 12 V" does not appear in test step 09 of the Quick Check for manual transmissions, trouble code 24 cannot be set (see test step 09 of Quick Check).
