· If, when the
engine starts, within 3 seconds, the reference signal is not present and the
battery voltage has decreased by at least 0.8 V and the intake manifold
pressure has decreased by at least 60 hPa, the control unit recognizes an
engine start although the reference signal is missing. Fault is set.
or
· If more than 4
synchronization pulses are missing per 64 engine revolutions when the engine
is running, the fault is set.
