·   The control unit has determined a voltage condition at the output to the injector which does not correspond to the nominal value (3 consecutive 0 V to 12 V transitions were not registered)

The fault (lead interruption/short circuit to ground) is recognized when the ignition is switched on and after the switch-on test.

Short circuit to ground:

Injector is always actuated

Engine does not start

The catalytic converter may become damaged

Interruption:

The injector is no longer actuated
