Fuel Pump, Replace

Disconnect battery.

Loosen mounting for fuel hoses.

Pull off hoses.

Remove fuel pump from cylinder block.

Remove gasket.

Important:

Close fuel lines with spring clamps before pulling off.

Observe general safety regulations for handling combustible fluids.

Object Number: 2380815 Size: DEFAULT

Clean sealing surfaces.

Install fuel pump - do not tilt when tightening.

Install fuel pump with new gasket.

Attach fuel hoses and fasten.

Connect battery.

Tightening torque: fuel pump to cylinder block - 18 Nm / 13.3 ft. lbf.
