Gasket between Exhaust Manifold and Cylinder Head, Replace

 

Disconnect battery.

Remove air cleaner.

Unscrew all exhaust manifold bolts (arrows) and push manifold backward out of the way.

 

 

Object Number: 2374638 Size: DEFAULT

 

 

Clean contact surface.

Put on new gasket.

Tighten manifold bolts -25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft.

In order to avoid incorrect tension that could break the manifold, tighten the bolts in a spiral from inside to outside.

Install air cleaner.

Connect battery.
