Subject: Conversion Instructions, CORSA/NOVA Fuel Supply Pump (In-tank Pump) C 12 NZ/C 14 NZ
Vehicles: CORSA/NOVA C 12 NZ/C 14 NZ with Vehicle Identification Number from M4 143 978 up to M4 302 767
Condition: All CORSA/NOVA C 12 NZ/C 14 NZ vehicles manufactured between 9.1.91 and 31.5.91 are affected by a high rate of failure of the fuel supply pump (in-tank pump), which leads to breakdowns.
Remedy: In the affected vehicles, replace the fuel supply pump (in-tank pump) during the next workshop visit as a precaution. A list of affected vehicles sold by your dealership is enclosed with this Technical Information Bulletin.
This precautionary replacement is free of charge for the customer. Therefore, warranty applications should be handed in as follows:
Parts: Designation Part No. Catalogue No. Fuel Supply Pump (In-tank Pump) 90 354 470 08 15 017 Gasket 90 232 009 08 16 447 Parts that are OK are marked with a blue spot on the flange.
*) Due to the high speed at which thesse components are being supplied, it may be possible that fuel supply pumps ( in-tank pumps) are delivered without filters. In this case, please transfer the filter from the old fuel supply pump (in-tank pump)
Time Allowance: T 0284 00 Fuel Supply Pump (In-tank Pump) - Replace (Precaution) .6 hrs TC 99
Render the removed fuel supply pump (in-tank pump) unusable and have it scrapped.
