Engine Compartment Lamp, Service Install

Lay cable lead from lamp location inside bonnet to wiring harness.

To do this, pull off partition seal and raise cover.

If there is a grey/green cable on the wiring harness, connect the cable lead to it.

If there is no grey/green cable provided, extend the cable lead and connect it to the grey/white cable for parking lamp, using a splice connector.

Connect ground cable - tooth lock washer, screw.

Insert bulb into socket.

Connect lamp and install in bonnet.

Reinstall removed parts.

Check function:

The engine compartment lamp illuminates when the parking lamps are on.
